We build human experiences at scale, powered by cutting‑edge web, mobile, cloud, data, and AI technologies. Every role at Massive Rocket is entrepreneurial. We’re building a culture of ownership, collaboration, and growth, and we’re looking for people who want to make a real impact.

We’re looking for an experienced Principal Data Architect to turn complex client requirements into scalable data solutions for global brands. You’ll lead technical discovery, design end-to-end data architectures, and build roadmaps that connect customer data, identity, and marketing technology to measurable business outcomes.

Working closely with client stakeholders and our Data Engineering teams, you’ll provide technical direction, guide architecture decisions, and ensure solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with business goals.

• Lead client discovery workshops to assess existing data platforms, identity frameworks, integrations, and business requirements.
• Align marketing, data, engineering, and product stakeholders on scope, priorities, and success measures.
• Design end-to-end data architectures integrating Snowflake, Databricks, mParticle, Hightouch, Braze, and wider MarTech platforms.
• Define data models, identity resolution, consent, and data quality frameworks across multiple brands and markets.
• Plan migrations from marketing, loyalty, and messaging platforms into modern data architectures.
• Develop technical roadmaps, estimate delivery effort, define project phases, and secure client sign-off before implementation.
• Evaluate data technologies and tools based on business requirements, scalability, performance, and cost.
• Guide Data Engineering teams in designing and optimising batch, event-driven, and low-latency data pipelines.
• Establish best practices for data validation, monitoring, performance optimisation, and governance.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear recommendations that demonstrate business value.
• Mentor engineers and consultants, lead technical reviews, and drive continuous improvement.
• Support client pitches, technical presentations, workshops, and opportunities to expand existing engagements.

• Rocket‑Fuelled Growth – Big challenges, fast learning, and the chance to level up quicker than anywhere else

• A Culture That Actually Gives a Damn – Supportive, positive, and built around people who want to see you win

• A Global Crew – Collaborate with brilliant teammates across Europe, the US, and beyond

• Remote‑First for Life – Work from wherever you feel your best

• Real Career Momentum – Clear progression, real ownership, and space to grow into your next chapter

• Moments That Matter – Meetups, events, and team experiences that make the journey unforgettable
